Sticky Wax, a specialty wax, is a hard and fast-setting wax that is primarily used for repairing wax patterns, adhering waxes together, and joining patterns on casting sprue trees and to the sprue base. This wax will not hinder the melt-out process, leaving no residue, making it ideal for both large and small parts. The recommended application temperature for optimal adhesion is 225°F to 275°F (107°C to 135°C).
The Sticky Wax is available in a stick form, with each stick measuring approximately 5" x 1/4" (127mm x 6.35mm), and it is packaged in a box containing 24 sticks, weighing a total of 3oz. However, it is important to note that some pieces may be broken in the box.
Sticky Wax can be used in a variety of applications, including holding objects in place and preventing them from moving on shelves or showcases, as well as securing taper candles in candle holders to keep them straight.
